We are seeking an immediately available, detail-driven organised Accounts Payable Officer to join a small finance team Brisbane's North. Based in Eagle Farm, this temporary position requires an experienced professional to efficiently manage the accounts payable function.

Description

This position requires:

• End-to-end accounts payable processing.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Complete reconciliations in alignment with internal processes.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
• Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Respond to supplier inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless payment processes.

Profile

A successful candidate must have:

• 2-5 years experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Netsuite ERP and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Understanding of accounting principles and end-to-end accounts payable.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
