We’re seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our business to the destinations we promote. This role is perfect for a travel industry professional with strong trade relationships and a drive to build market share in a competitive, fast-paced environment.

About the role and responsibility:
As the Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying new opportunities, growing trade relationships, and representing the TOTAL HOLIDAY OPTIONS across industry channels.
Key Responsibilities include:
Securing new business across retail, Group and MICE sectors
Managing and growing existing trade accounts
Representing TOTAL HOLIDAY OPTIONS at trade shows, industry events and conferences
Developing and executing regional business strategies
Providing reporting, insights, and pipeline management to the head of Sales & Marketing
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions
What We're Looking For
Minimum 5-9 years' experience in a travel industry sales, BDM, or account management role (compulsory)
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required – no sponsorship available.
Strong existing network within the NSW - Australia travel trade
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Willingness to travel interstate and occasionally internationally
Familiarity with outbound tourism and DMC operations is a bonus.
Current full driving licence
