Foreman Carpenter – High-End Residential Construction

WS Building is a growing, high-end construction company specialising in bespoke residential homes across Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. With a strong focus on quality craftsmanship and detail, our team is passionate about delivering outstanding residential projects tailored to our clients’ visions.

We are currently seeking a motivated, reliable, and experienced Foreman Carpenter to join our team and grow with us in a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a small team of carpenters and labourers on site

Be hands-on with carpentry work as needed

Coordinate and manage subcontractors

Liaise with architects, engineers, clients, and suppliers

Assist in managing the construction programme and timelines

Maintain high standards of workmanship and site presentation

Conduct site set out

Interpret and work from architectural and structural plans

Ensure site safety and manage WH&S

What We’re Looking For

Certificate III in Carpentry (Certificate IV in Building & Construction highly regarded)

At least 5 years of experience in high-end residential construction

Proven ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans

Full Australian driver’s license and reliable transport

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Solid understanding of all structural works, including timber framing, concrete, reinforcement, and structural steel.

Ability to work independently and effectively manage onsite teams and subcontractors

Honest, reliable, and driven with a strong sense of ownership and work ethic
