Leading Hand / Foreman - North Shore / Beaches - Architectural Home Builder

This is an opportunity to join a well-established, forward-thinking residential builder known for delivering high-end architectural homes across the lower North Shore. They are all-round builders. You'll be working within a small team from demolition to project handover. The initial project is to work on an $8 million cost-plus build in Mosman.

Responsibilities:

Help manage the day-to-day operations of the construction site along with the Site Manager

Ensure that all work is carried out safely, within budget and to a high standard

Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure the project runs smoothly

Help manage and coordinate subcontractors

Maintain a safe working environment and ensure that all workers comply with health and safety regulations

Monitor progress

Requirements:

At least 2 years' experience in Leading Hand Carpenter role

Cert III in construction

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Eagerness to learn and develop

Strong leadership and team management skills

Knowledge of construction laws and regulations
