Leading Hand / Foreman – Crescent Head - $5m + Club Extensions

Are you a skilled and motivated Carpenter / Leading Hand Carpenter looking to elevate your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for you to step into a Leading Hand / Foreman role.

We are a design & Construction Company builder based in Sydney have a project in crescent head NSW. We now require a Leading Hand to work across this project. You will work closely with the Site Manager to deliver the multistage project.

Responsibilities:

• Help manage the day-to-day operations of the construction site along with the Site Manager
• Ensure that all work is carried out safely, within budget and to a high standard
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure the project runs smoothly
• Help manage and coordinate subcontractors
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure that all workers comply with health and safety regulations
• Monitor progress
• Complete hands on works as required

Requirements:

• At least 4 years' experience in a Carpenter / Leading Hand
• Ideally experience working on suspended concrete slabs and structural steel & fit out
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Eagerness to learn and develop
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of construction laws and regulations
