About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service and Bookings professional at Swift Transport Services in Dandenong South, VIC.

What you'll be doing

Providing exceptional customer service to our clients, handling inquiries, bookings and issues in a professional and timely manner

Taking high volumes of phone bookings with accuracy

Supporting new accounts - account creation, follow up, assisting sales staff and account monitoring

Collaborating with internal teams to ensure efficient and reliable service delivery

Assisting the despatch team with callbacks and fielding job enquiries

Taking opportunities to improve customer experience

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or logistics/transport role

Someone who thrives on variety and can multitask

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues

Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail

Proficiency in using relevant software and technology to support customer service and bookings processes

A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving and adapting to changing priorities

A team player who conducts themselves professionally and with a positive attitude

What we offer

At Swift Transport Services, we are committed to providing our employees with a supportive and rewarding work environment. Working from 9am to 4pm on a casual basis, we are offering $35 per hour plus super, we are more than happy to review this for the right candidate with a view to go fulltime.
