- $39.62 per hour (inc. casual loading) plus superannuation
- Location: Waves leisure centre, Highett
The role
Waves Leisure Centre are looking for confident, motivated team players with exceptional customer service skills to join our vibrant frontline Customer Service team. You will have excellent communication, be proficient with cash handling and have the ability to diplomatically handle situations with our valued customers. Experience in a similar customer facing environment is highly desired.
About you
Responsibilities and key to your success will be:
- Providing excellent service to all customers as their first point of contact, both in person and over the telephone.
- Processing casual entry, as well as bookings for all Centre services and programs; including but not limited to aquatic entry, fitness programs, swim lessons, and retail.
- Handling all membership enquiries including tours of the Centre, membership sales and renewals and assisting with member retention.
- Knowledge of all programs and ability to promote these to our customers and assist them with choosing the right product.
In addition, the minimum qualification requirements for this position are:
- CPR qualification and Level 2 First Aid
- Current Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Must maintain a satisfactory Police Check
- A positive, friendly and energetic demeanor with experience in a customer focused, face to face role
- Demonstrated knowledge and confidence in membership sales and retention
- Experience in the leisure industry and with leisure-based software would be advantageous
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends is a must.
