About the company:
This is a fully owned Australian piling/ground engineering contractor who have been established for over thirty years and have operations throughout Australia. They are leaders in their sector and have the capability and expertise to deliver the most complex and challenging projects.

About the Role: Our client is seeking an Operations and Maintenance Manager to work in its workshop. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for the daily logistics of the plant and equipment as well as daily operations and staff in the workshop.
About the Duties:

• Based in Brisbane/Gold Coast
• Report to the owner of the company
• Liaising with the project teams
• Ensuring that the correct plant is allocated to the correct projects
• Supervising Boilermakers and other associated staff
• Have everyday control over the running of the workshop
• The role will also entail allocating personnel and resources to each project.
• Planning regular maintenance of piling rigs and earthmoving equipment
• Manage the storage yard
• Provide weekly reports

About the Requirements:

• Proven track record in a similar position
• Knowledge of piling rigs and earthmoving machinery
• Strong mechanical knowledge
• Great organisational skills
• Proven experience as a Supervisor
• Be able to manage teams
• Proficiency in operating a 90T Crawler crane is a bonus
• Positive and can-do attitude
• Have a team-oriented approach
