We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Functions Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment.

Job Summary

As Functions Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our events — from birthdays and engagements to corporate gatherings and everything in between. You’ll manage bookings from initial inquiry through to execution, ensuring every guest leaves happy and every event runs like clockwork. You will also be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the pub, ensuring the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction

Tasks & responsibilities

Handle all function inquiries, quotes, and bookings with professionalism and personality

Plan, coordinate, and execute events from start to finish

Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to tailor menus and service

Maintain clear communication with clients to exceed expectations

Drive function sales through proactive marketing and community engagement

Manage budgets, invoices, and post-event feedback

Ensure compliance with licensing and health & safety requirements

Qualifications & experience

Proven experience in events, hospitality or function coordination

Strong communication and organizational skills

A hands-on attitude and calm under pressure

Excellent customer service with a flair for creating special moments

A team player who can lead by example

RSA certificate
