We are seeking an experienced and driven Venue Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of 28 gaming machine hospitality venue.

About the Role:

As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the venue, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while maintaining a strong focus on staff leadership, compliance, profitability, and service standards. You’ll work independently with support from owner to deliver consistent results.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a diverse team across bar, bistro, gaming, and functions

Manage sick calls, training, and performance

Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships

Ensure compliance with RSA, gaming-RSG, and licensing regulations

Maintain venue presentation, cleanliness, and safety standards

Drive revenue growth through proactive service and local engagement

Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve escalated issues professionally

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in hospitality or venue management (2+ years preferred)

Strong leadership and people management skills

Knowledge of liquor licensing and gaming compliance (VCGLR or similar)

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Available to work across a rotating roster, including nights/weekends
