About the Role
Join one of the world’s most recognised hospitality brands as a Payroll Officer supporting the Hilton Melbourne Finance Cluster. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional seeking flexibility, stability, and the chance to work with a high-performing and supportive team.
You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely payroll services as part of a cluster role supporting three premium Hilton hotels. This is a permanent part-time position, ideally commencing on 1st September. Working 3 days per week (primarily Monday to Wednesday), this role is well suited to someone with strong payroll experience and exceptional attention to detail.
What will I be doing?
End-to-end payroll processing using MicrOpay and UKG Dimensions
Calculation and submission of superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax, and other statutory payments
Preparation of payroll journals, reports, and reconciliations
Lodgement of Single Touch Payroll (STP) to the ATO
Coordinating leave entitlements and termination calculations
Maintaining compliance with payroll legislation and internal policies
Responding to payroll queries and liaising hotel teams
Indexing and archiving payroll records for audit and compliance purposes
What are we looking for?
Minimum 2 years’ end-to-end payroll experience, preferably in a high-volume or multi-site environment
Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance
Experience with MicrOpay and/or UKG Dimensions highly desirable
Working knowledge of the HIGA would be highly advantageous
Advanced Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to manage competing deadlines
