About the role

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of a $15m dollar commercial project in the South East of Brisbane CBD. This full-time position and will require you to lead a team of construction professionals to ensure the successful and timely completion of this project. Our client has excellent pipeline of work and prides themselves on keeping their Site Managers close to their home location. What you'll be doing

Coordinate and supervise the day-to-day operations of construction sites

Manage the work of subcontractors and tradespeople to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the required quality standards

Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues that arise

Ensure all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations are followed

Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment necessary for the project

Participate in the planning and scheduling of project activities

Provide leadership and guidance to the construction team

What we're looking for

Extensive experience as a Site Manager or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry

Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team and lead a diverse group of professionals

Proficient in using construction management software and tools

Trade qualification in carpentry

Must hold a QBCC Supervisors Licence

Experience working on commercial new build construction projects $10-$20m
