Are you a Site Manager who takes genuine pride in delivering exceptional homes, seeking a role where your expertise shapes the final product? We are looking for a dedicated professional to lead custom home construction projects for our client.

This is a permanent opportunity based in Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane, with most sites across the Southside of Brisbane. You'll join a custom home builder focused on quality and client satisfaction, providing a stable environment within a growing company.

Your role will be to manage the construction of bespoke homes, leveraging your site management skills to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. You'll contribute directly to the high standards that define our client's work.

What you will be doing:

• Site and Project Oversight: Managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring tasks adhere to project plans, specifications, and Australian Standards, while acting as a primary point of contact on site
• Trade and Workflow Coordination: Coordinating all trades and subcontractors for a smooth workflow, conducting essential site meetings, and swiftly resolving on-site issues
• Quality Control: Regularly inspecting work to meet all building codes and company standards, performing critical stage quality checks, and managing defect rectification to ensure superior materials and workmanship
• Scheduling and Cost Management: Developing and maintaining project schedules with a minimum 4-week look ahead, managing material deliveries, keeping accurate daily records, and actively working to minimise additional costs
• Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Ensuring strict adherence to OHS regulations, conducting regular safety checks, managing site risk, and maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate site documentation, submitting regular progress updates to the General Manager and clients, and meticulously managing project variations
• Client Relations: Interacting directly with clients on-site to address questions and concerns, effectively managing their expectations, and representing the company professionally

• Highly organised, with excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
• Committed to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment
• An effective communicator, able to liaise seamlessly with various stakeholders, including clients and subcontractors

While not essential, relevant tertiary qualifications in construction management, or a related field, along with a demonstrated track record of successful project delivery, would be beneficial.
