About the role

This full-time Bookkeeper role at Commercial Accounting Co in Toowoomba, QLD offers an exciting opportunity to join a thriving commercial accounting practice. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive bookkeeping services to a diverse range of small and medium-sized business clients.

What you'll be doing

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients
• Preparing and processing invoices, payments, and payroll
• Reconciling bank statements and credit card accounts
• Generating financial reports and statements
• Assisting with tax compliance and lodgement
• Providing general administrative and customer service support
• Liaising with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions

What we're looking for

• Relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualification (e.g. Certificate IV in Bookkeeping) - preferred not required
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounting role
• Strong proficiency in using accounting software such as MYOB, Xero or QuickBooks
• Excellent numerical and data entry skills with high attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
