About the role

Be part of an ever-growing and energetic team as a full-time Senior Bookkeeper based in Nerang, Queensland. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert bookkeeping training to supervise and train new and existing bookkeepers.

What you'll be training and supervising our bookkeepers in:-

Business Activity Statements (BAS)

Payroll Reconciliations

BAS Reconciliation

Preparation of TPAR (Taxable Payment Annual Report)

Preparation of Income Statements

Prepare for End of Year (30 June)

Software training and support

What we're looking for

Registered BAS Agent qualification or equivalent experience

Proficiency in accounting software such as MYOB, Xero, or QuickBooks

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organisational and time management abilities

Systems orientated

Driven and motivated

High level of attention to detail

Can work autonomously

Problem solving skills desirable

Hard working and committed

Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience;

Experience in Dext, Deputy and KeyPay & Xero preferred but not essential;
