Account Lead – Growth Strategist (Performance Marketing)

Location: Gold Coast or Brisbane (Hybrid role)

This is not a project manager role

This is for someone ready to become a strategic growth partner in a lean, high-performance marketing agency.

At Sensic Digital, we help e-commerce brands scale through elite ad creative, conversion-focused strategy, and strong execution. We're hiring an Account Lead who brings strategic insight, technical performance marketing knowledge, operational strength, and the desire to genuinely build and improve an agency.

This role suits someone who wants to help us 3–5x the agency and take ownership of critical client relationships, internal systems, and team leadership.

What You’ll Own

Vision and Strategic Growth

Lead the development of internal delivery systems, client success processes, and team accountability

Identify and fix bottlenecks in delivery, creative output, communication, and reporting

Co-lead agency strategy, planning, and team buildout with the founder

Client Strategy and Performance

Own the performance of 5–8 e-commerce clients, guiding strategy, creative, and full-funnel execution

Lead retention, creative testing, acquisition strategy, and conversion optimisation

Direct pods and performance teams with clarity, accountability, and proactive improvement

Creative and Delivery Systems

Build and refine SOPs, Notion systems, reporting dashboards, and feedback loops

Help systemise creative ideation and testing to improve velocity and success rates

Design workflows that are scalable, trackable, and outcome-oriented

Technical Oversight and Metrics

Confident in Meta Ads Manager, Klaviyo, Google Ads, GA4, and Shopify

Proficient in analysing metrics like ROAS, MER, AOV, conversion rate, CPA, and gross margin

Bonus if you have worked on SMS, landing page CRO, funnel audits, or email segmentation

You’ve previously scaled an ad account profitably to $50K/month or higher

Lead Generation and Internal Growth

Support the development of internal lead generation, outreach, and brand positioning

Experience building or improving inbound or outbound lead systems is a plus

Contribute to refining our offer, messaging, and outbound content strategy

AI Integration and Workflow Automation

At the edge of AI implementation, automating agency workflows, reporting, and client tasks

Comfortable leading the use of AI agents, Zapier/Make automation, GPT tools, and ops optimisation

Able to research and test AI tools to improve performance, speed, and scale

Constantly looking for ways to eliminate low-leverage work across team operations

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You

Think in direct response terms and can improve creative, offers, and funnels

Have worked in both agency and brand-side roles, especially in fast-growth environments

Love designing systems, creative processes, and data pipelines

Learn extremely fast and constantly teach yourself tools and tactics

Confidently lead client calls, present insights, and guide strategy

Are naturally numbers-driven and technically competent

Think in terms of outcomes, leverage, and scale

Are based in Brisbane or Gold Coast, or happy to work closely in our timezone
