About the role

Peninsula Pool Contractors Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Supervisor / Leading hand to join our team in Melbourne and Regional Victoria. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily on-site operations of our Commercial Pool Construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Role includes Excellent negotiable salary and Company Vehicle.

What you'll be doing

Supervise and lead a team of pool construction workers, tradespeople, and subcontractors to ensure efficient and effective project delivery

Liaise directly with Managing Director to plan and lead on site operations and project delivery

Oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordination of all construction activities to meet project milestones and deadlines

Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company policies

Monitor and report on project progress, costs, and resource utilisation

Provide hands-on guidance, training, and support to the construction team to develop their skills and enhance their performance

What we're looking for

Significant experience (5+ years) as a Leading Hand or Supervisor in the Concrete Swimming Pool construction industry

Strong technical knowledge of Concrete pool construction methods, materials, and equipment, as well as hands on experience is a must.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate and motivate the construction team

Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise tasks, and make timely decisions to keep projects on track
