About the Business and the Role

Singh Homes is an established, fast-growing Australian-owned business specialising in the design and construction of high-quality custom homes across Victoria. Our focus is on delivering the highest standards of quality and customer service, placing ourselves at the forefront of the residential building industry.

We are expanding our construction team and are currently seeking a highly experienced Construction Supervisor who possesses the expertise to manage on-site construction activities and ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of residential projects.

As a Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

Overseeing and managing the day-to-day on-site construction activities across multiple custom home projects

Coordinating and supervising trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure work is completed on time, to budget, and in line with Singh Homes’ quality standards

Monitoring project progress, identifying and resolving issues, and maintaining build schedules

Conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with OH&S and building regulations

Reviewing construction plans and documents to coordinate resources and anticipate project needs

Ensuring each project stage is completed in accordance with contractual timelines and specifications

Maintaining accurate records of job progress, site activities, and material usage

Communicating effectively with clients, internal teams, and contractors to manage expectations and project outcomes

Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in site practices and contributing to a strong team culture

Ensuring all work meets Singh Homes' quality control standards

Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

Minimum 5 years' experience as a Construction Supervisor in residential home building (KDRB/custom build experience highly regarded)

Strong understanding of construction methods, regulations, and OH&S requirements

Proven ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously, while maintaining high-quality standards and tight timelines

Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills

Sound ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications

A results-driven mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach to supervision

Strong leadership qualities and a passion for mentoring and guiding trades on site

Current Victorian Driver’s Licence and White Card

Relevant qualifications in Building and Construction (Diploma or Certificate IV preferred)
