Site Supervisor – Fitout Projects

About the Role:

Storebuild Australia, based in Ringwood VIC, is seeking an experienced full-time Site Supervisor with a background in fitout projects to support our construction team. This position is instrumental in delivering a diverse range of fitout projects across Victoria, and occasionally interstate.

The role is to site co-ordinate projects for the construction team. Ensuring that the retail, hospitality, office or commercial project is delivered in an efficient and professional manner. A summary of the position is included;

Key Responsibilities:

Site Management: Oversee the execution of one to three fitout projects simultaneously, with project values ranging from $100,000 to $1.5M.

Site Coordination: Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure work is completed according to project scope, plans and schedule.

Collaboration: Work closely with the Construction Manager, Project Managers, and Directors to ensure smooth project delivery and communication.

Hands-On Leadership: Balance between managing site activities and actively participating in on-site trade construction and joinery tasks as needed.

Safety Oversight: Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) practices on site.

Reporting: Providing daily reports and photos of progress to Construction and Project Managers.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years as a Site Supervisor or Foreperson in fitout projects.

Trade Qualification: Qualified in shopfitting, joinery, carpentry, or a related trade.

Technical Proficiency: Competent in Construction and Joinery Install along with competency using Microsoft applications and web-based platforms, for site communication, and reporting purposes.

OHS Leadership: Proven ability to lead and enforce OHS protocols on site. Including Toolbox meetings and site safety inspection and reporting.
