THE COMPANY is a very strong player in the space and is known as a go to by contractors and OEMs for superior quality wear and engine parts. They not only import and distribute; in the last 10 years they have started manufacturing locally as well, which gives them a significant advantage. They have complete coverage in a branch network across Australia and work extremely hard to deliver complete customer satisfaction.
THE ROLE is a rewarding and diverse role with customer interaction both in face-to-face visits in the branch as well as phone and email-based conversations for recommendations and sales. This role is a technical role where you will need to have a strong understanding of all the aspects of the parts on offer. This is something that we understand well, and we make sure we provide full training so that you can be confident in your conversations with any of our customers. You will also be involved in other aspects of making sure the branch runs at its best, including stock control and shipping.
YOUR EXPERIENCE needs to be of a technical and customer service background. We are very open to you coming from an automotive, trucks or similar background in parts interpreting if you have the right attitude and genuinely are interested in developing a career in this lucrative industry. Obviously, the slam dunk is if you come from an earthmoving background with excellent knowledge of engine and wear parts as well as customer interaction. ON OFFER is a great internal role with a substantial company in this industry. You will receive full training and become a part of a very tight and highly knowledgeable team with long standing employees a testament to the company environment. We are negotiable on experience and offer salaries to reflect this. As a general guideline if you are looking to crossover into the industry salary will be around $65K = super but it will stretch to $75K plus super if you can show a good understanding of our products and markets, or an ability to quickly pick them up. On top of this is a very strong bonus scheme that is paid quarterly and typically sees 20-25% of your salary paid out in bonuses, indexed quarterly. There are numerous other benefits to this role including firm and regular working hours Monday to Friday only as well as genuine pathways to progression both in sales and operational roles.
