We have an opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager in a technical sales role in a full-time capacity. Based in Sydney, this is a national role which will require the successful candidate to focus on the NSW market personally and manage the rest of the country through an existing network of sales representatives, therefore occasional travel to the other states will also be required.
Our company has a brand that for over 20 years has established itself as an industry specialist in temperature measurement and datalogging. The accurate measurement and recording of temperature is heavily regulated in the food service industry (HACCP) and the medical industry (temperature regulation of medicines, vaccines, etc). Due to our robust reputation for quality and expertise, we have made great progress in the food service industry and would now like to focus on the medical industry. We are looking for someone with extensive experience in selling equipment within the hospital & pharmaceutical industries, someone with selling expertise and established networks in those industries to head the sales of our temperature division. The role will also focus on the food industry and look to grow into other markets.
This exciting role is at the center of what our company is known for…the sale & support of technically advanced globally recognised electrical product solutions and the delivery of the best customer care in our industry.
You will be dealing with and developing new clients in the following markets:
· Hospitals
· Medical clinics
· Medical transport
· Pharmaceutical / Chemist companies
· Food service
· Food convenience retail
· Aged care / child care industry
· Any business that has a refrigerator that stores food that is sold to the public
You will be representing a product portfolio that includes:
· Thermometers (extensive range)
· Dataloggers (extensive range)
· IoT solutions for temperature measurement and recording
Do you?
· Have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a sales representative or BDM selling equipment within the medical industry?
· Have a sales-driven personality and have a proven track record of hitting monthly sales targets?

The business that this role refers to is called HLP Controls, which was acquired by Fuseco earlier in the year. We have embarked on an exciting journey which includes re-branding, re-locating to the Wetherill Park region, the development of a new website, integration into the Fuseco national business and this amazing new role!

As part of our Fuseco team, you will be in the privileged position of working alongside the best customer service talent in our industry. The successful candidate MUST have a minimum of 4 years experience as a Sales Representative or BDM in the medical industry in NSW and must have extensive customer networks within the industry.

This position reports to our National Sales Manager in Melbourne, operates from our office in Sydney and combines both the traditional ‘on the road’ representation role but also a national sales focus working with our network of state reps and BDMs.
Salary: $120K plus Superannuation plus Car Allowance) + Company Bonus + Fuel + Phone/laptop
