The Opportunity

This is a full-time permanent role [ 6am start ]. Due to continuous growth, we are seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to be an integral part of our manufacturing process.

Your responsibilities may include, based on your experience:
- Operate industrial sewing machines to stitch and assemble various fabric components
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate stitching and assembly
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality
- Inspect finished products to maintain quality standards and identify any defects
- Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and production targets
- Always follow safety guidelines and report any risks immediately
- Manual Handling – up to 25Kgs

About you

The successful applicant will have proven experience as an Industrial Sewing Machinist or in a similar role. As well as:

- Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and understanding technical drawings
- Attention to detail and a focus on maintaining high-quality standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-based manufacturing environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques or machinery
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in a manufacturing setting
