About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to carry out industrial sewing tasks in the production of custom tarpaulins.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Using a HF Welder to bond PVC fabrics
• Straight line sewing to join various materials
• Cutting patterns and marking tarps as per custom order sheets
• Straight line sewing of hems with and without seatbelt reinforcing
• Assembling panels of various shapes into large rectangular tarps

This role requires an individual who is confident working with heavy-duty fabrics and has the attention to detail required for high-quality craftsmanship.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Ability to work with large, heavy materials
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Proven experience as an industrial or heavy-duty sewing machinist
• A high level of physical fitness and capability to handle physically demanding tasks
