About the role

Join the talented team at House of Drapes' as a Curtain Sewing Machinist. In this full-time role based in Kunda Park, Queensland, you will be responsible for using your expertise to sew high-quality curtains and other soft furnishings. As an integral member of our manufacturing team, you will contribute to the creation of our premium products that are distributed across the region.

What you'll be doing

Operating industrial sewing machines to assemble curtain components and other soft furnishings

Collaborating with the broader manufacturing team to meet production targets and deadlines

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a sewing machinist, preferably within a curtain or soft furnishings manufacturing environment

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow complex patterns and specifications

Strong hand-eye coordination and the physical stamina to spend extended periods operating sewing machines

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

A keen eye for quality and a commitment to delivering consistently high standards
