Job Title: Test Automation Engineer (APS5/APS6)
Location: Melbourne (Hybrid role)
Contract Term: 9 months, fixed term contract with the view of becoming permenant

We are seeking two skilled Test Automation Engineers at the APS5 or APS6 level to join a collaborative and agile IT delivery team. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of critical business systems across a large-scale digital platform.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will:

Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts.

Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver test automation projects.

Develop and implement test automation strategies and execute test cases according to defined plans.

Analyse automation test results, report on progress and issues, and recommend improvements.

Engage in defect resolution discussions and provide input into continuous improvement processes.

Conduct manual testing when necessary to complement automated efforts.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for candidates with the following core skills and knowledge:

Demonstrated experience with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) automated testing frameworks.

Proficiency in Python, Typescript, and Javascript.

Desirable experience with:

Automated testing of applications hosted in AWS.

Integrating automated test execution within CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, or Microsoft Azure DevOps.

Microsoft Playwright for GUI testing of web applications.
