Drive Innovation in Cardiovascular Care – Join Our Specialist/GP Hybrid Team
We’re excited to offer a new, unique opportunity to join Amgen’s diverse, inclusive, and high-performing Hybrid Specialist/GP team. As a key member of our VIC team on the VIC – East/TAS South Territory, you’ll play a vital role in driving the success of our cutting-edge lipid-lowering biologic therapy, helping to improve outcomes for patients with Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease (ASCVD).
In this 12-month, contract role, reporting to the Senior District Sales Manager, you’ll partner with Cardiologists and GPs to deliver science-based value, build trusted relationships, and accelerate brand performance in a competitive space.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Maximizing product sales and market share across your territory
Building and cultivating strategic partnerships with Cardiologists and GPs
Delivering impactful product education and support tailored to healthcare provider needs
Collaborating on territory and account plans to drive results
Monitoring KPIs, managing CRM data, and responding to emerging opportunities and competitive activity

We’re seeking proactive, driven individuals with a passion for science-based sales, account management and brand competitiveness.
Proven success in Primary Care pharmaceutical field sales essential
Hospital/Specialty Pharmaceutical sales experience highly regarded
Experience in Cardiovascular or lipid-lowering therapy areas highly regarded
Strong understanding of the VIC–East/TAS-South territory is preferred
Science or Business qualifications and Medicines Australia certification
Strategic, self-driven approach with strong account development skills
Confident communicator with excellent tech, CRM, and MS Office proficiency
Valid Australian work rights and driver’s licence essential
