Executive Housekeeper - Luxury 5 Star Hotel

Join one of Canberra's most prestigious 5-star hotels to lead the housekeeping team as Executive Housekeeper.

In this role, you will motivate and coordinate all housekeeping operations to ensure an exceptional standard of cleanliness, presentation, and service delivery to the hotel and guests.

Main Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently met.

Develop and lead a team of housekeeping supervisors to ensure consistent team performance, strong leadership at all levels, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.

Manage departmental budgets, supply inventory, and cost control.

Uphold strict health, hygiene, and safety protocols.

Respond to guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.

Maintain and enhance standard operating procedures.

Monitor and report on housekeeping performance, occupancy needs, and staffing levels.

Support onboarding and ongoing training programs for new and existing staff.

What You'll Bring:

Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper in a 5-star hotel.

Strong understanding of housekeeping operations and procedures.
