As the Manager, you’re required to Manage and help coordinate the Parts Department. The position will see you focus on the delivery of positive outcomes for the growing parts department at Rokewood. You will lead a small but dedicated team in coordinating the supply chain of quality parts to our customer base, whilst liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure that a high level service delivery.

In this position, you will be liaising with suppliers, maintaining inventories, selling parts to customers, making sure work order inventory demands are performed in time, and avoiding the costs of excessive inventory.

You will be responsible for:

Selling products and/or services to repair the problem and meet the customer's needs.

Maintain customer relationships by greeting and acknowledge all customers he/she comes in contact with.

Assist in keeping parts department clean and orderly.

Record all sales and/or customer transactions that occur.

Provide service technicians with parts as required.

Maintain the retail sale floor and displays to meet or exceed the dealerships standards and customer satisfaction.

Control showroom inventory to ensure maximum sales and customer satisfaction.

Perform routine housekeeping tasks that maintain and enhances the cleanliness of products and the parts showroom.

When working the parts counter, follow prescribed cash, credit, and cheque processing procedures of the dealership.

Attend training as prescribed by management to maintain proficiency in his/her job description.

Uses dealership equipment and resources safely and proficiently

Customer Management

Offer assistance and explanation when difficulties arise, ensure complaints are followed up and that satisfactory solutions are obtained.

Maintain and develop close relationships with key accounts and ensure their requirements are being met wherever possible.

People Management

Develop the technical knowledge to improve the capability of the team to effectively assist with the customers’ requirements.

Maintain and develop a team of dedicated professionals and document working knowledge and skills of current and emerging technologies.

Manage and coach the performance of individual team members and monitor their overall performance.

Note some Saturday work is required depending on Season and demands.
