About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the talented team at Traction Ag as a Service Manager. As a full-time role based in Horsham, Victoria, you will play a vital part in leading the service operations for the business, ensuring seamless delivery of maintenance and repairs to our valued agricultural clients.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service department, including workflow management, staff supervision, and performance monitoring

Providing technical expertise and guidance to the service team, ensuring all repairs and maintenance are completed to the highest standard

Developing and implementing efficient processes and procedures to optimise workshop productivity

Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and timely communication

Monitoring parts inventory and placing orders to ensure the availability of necessary components

Preparing service reports and analysing key performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement

Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Experience in a similar service management role within the agricultural or automotive equipment industry

Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery and equipment

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team

Experience with relevant equipment software systems

A working knowledge of parts inventory management and cost control

Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards

Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in automotive or agricultural mechanics
