We are looking for a person who works well under pressure and understands the day to day fluctuating needs of various parts within a automotive dealership . You will oversee the entire parts department, ensuring the availability of necessary parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance, manage inventory and maintain relationships with suppliers. This is a crucial role in the efficient operating in the dealership's service department by ensuring technicians have the parts they need, when they need them.

Key responsibilities are:

Inventory Management - monitoring stock levels, managing storage and organisation of parts

Procurement - sourcing of parts from approved vendors and ensuring timely delivery

Order Processing - handling parts orders from technicians, customers and other departments

Team Management - supervising and coordinating the work for parts staff

Customer Service - providing assistance to both internal and external customers regarding parts identification, availability and pricing

Budget and Cost Control - managing the parts dept budget and tracking expenses

Compliance with relevant regulations and manufacturer guidelines

Sales and Marketing - assisting retail customer and supporting promotional efforts

Relationship Building with suppliers and other departments

Reporting in sales, inventory and other relevant metrics to management
