Due to growth within our spare parts team we have an opening for an experienced Spare Parts Interpreter or someone with a good automotive technical understanding matched with great computer skills that is ready to give something new a try!

Our Parts Interpreters are the back-bone of the services we provide to our customers. Utilising an incredible eye for detail and equally strong communication skills, you’ll ensure that our workshops receive the perfect parts in preparation for work to be done on our customers’ cars.

This is a dynamic, team-based role where you'll collaborate with a team of interpreter as well as internal stakeholders to meet your objectives.

Key responsibilities:

• Speak with retail, trade and internal workshop customers to identify parts required then place part orders with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Maintain record of orders as necessary in order book, filing cabinet or computer.
• Receive and dispatch parts in a timely manner after ensuring consignment notes match stock arrivals.
• Collectively maintain a suitable level of stock to anticipate demand without unnecessarily holding excess stock.

About you:

• Previous experience in the ordering of specialised stock, ideally within the automotive industry
• A keen eye for detail including a habit of double-checking your work
• Customer service experience
• Full Victorian drivers licence
• Fork lift licence an asset
