About the role

Lane Transport Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Killarney, VIC. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of heavy vehicles. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our trucks remain in top condition and our operations run smoothly.

What you'll be doing

Conducting regular servicing and maintenance on a range of heavy vehicles including trucks, trailers and specialty equipment

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and diesel engine faults

Performing inspections, installations and overhauls of vehicle components

Maintaining detailed records of work performed

Ensuring all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner

Providing support and guidance to junior mechanics as required

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanics or a related field

Significant experience (5+ years) as a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic

Strong technical knowledge of heavy vehicle systems and components

Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong time management and organisational skills

Commitment to safety and quality standards

HC or MC license would be a advantage
