Phoenix Source & Select are currently seeking a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic to play a key role in maintaining a fleet of trucks and vehicles with a national transport company. Located in the south east suburb, this will be a hands-on role with a potential to grow into a leadership role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on a range of trucks (PUD to MC class)
• Service and maintain fleet vehicles across multiple classes
• Read and interpret work orders and assign tasks accordingly
• Supervise and delegate tasks to workshop staff and mechanics

Essential Requirements:

• Trade-qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic
• Experience with diagnostic tools
• 5 yeas of heavy diesel mechanic experience
• Strong leadership skills with experience in team supervision
• Ability to read, understand, and action workshop paperwork

Preferred but Not Required:

• Valid LF Forklift Licence
• Any class of Truck Licence
