Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
South Coast Bus is seeking a qualified Diesel (Heavy Vehicle) Mechanic for our bus operation at Phillip Island.
The full time position will be based at our Cowes Depot and involves hands on mechanical duties. The role will work as part of a team and report to a Workshop Supervisor and will be responsible for all aspects of mechanical repairs and maintenance including mentoring apprentices. The position is a 38hr week Monday 08.00–16.30 and 08.00-16.00 Tuesday to Friday with opportunities for overtime.
The successful applicant must:
- be a qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic;
- have experience;
- be hands on;
- work well under pressure;
- have good communication skills, and
- preferably hold a heavy vehicle driver's licence.
