Experienced and Qualified Diesel Mechanic

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and qualified heavy diesel mechanic for our company fleet workshop located in the Campbellfield.

The applicant we are seeking must have prior experience with and be competent in carrying out;

• Performing Minor and Major truck and trailer repairs and maintenance in accordance with industry standards to to North American trucks Kenworth & Freightliner and trailing equipment
• Run diagnostics on vehicles & plan repairs
• Work closely with other team members to meet company goals.
• Experience Working with Cummins Cat & Detroit Engines
• Driveline servicing and repair skills
• Auto electrical skills
• Welding and fabrication skills
• Experience using computer based diagnostic programs.
• Understanding of vehicle roadworthy requirements.

As well as these skills the candidate will possess the following personal attributes.

•- Able to work unsupervised and in a team environment with effective time management.
•- Flexibility in work tasks.

• Be proactive in task management
• Proficient and thorough in carrying our safety inspections

- a HR or HC license an advantage but not essential
