Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk assessments for new and existing third-party providers, including support for specialised areas such as privacy, data protection, information security, and regulatory compliance
• Offer practical risk guidance by identifying key risks and control weaknesses, helping the business simplify processes and reduce overall risk exposure
• Assist with the design and implementation of effective risk controls related to third-party suppliers
• Create and apply strategies to mitigate risks associated with external providers across the organisation
• Regularly track and assess supplier performance and associated risks, providing updates to senior leadership and relevant risk committees
• Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory standards and internal procedures governing third-party risk
• Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, and Governance teams to ensure supplier risks are managed effectively
• Lead training and awareness initiatives to build understanding of supplier risk across the business

What you'll need to succeed:

• 5-7 years of experience in risk management preferably in third party risk/procurement risk/supplier risk in the financial services industry
• Ability to perform reviews of critical processes, determine root cause, control gaps/ weaknesses and simplification opportunities
• Proven track record of supporting the development and implementation of risk management processes and performing supplier risk assessments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
