Production Manager – Outdoor Kitchens

Australian Outdoor Living is searching for a professional, driven Outdoor Kitchens Production Manager to join our team based in Minchinbury.

About the role

As an Outdoor Kitchen Production Manager, you will be managing and controlling our production and logistics functions to ensure the efficient and timely installation of our Outdoor Kitchen products. This is mostly an office-based position with some site work including check measures and rectification calls.

Working from our Minchinbury office, you will manage every part of the outdoor kitchen project, post-sales.

Key Responsibilities include:

Plan, schedule, and monitor production to ensure on-time delivery and meet budget targets.

Manage trade and service schedules for efficient customer installations.

Produce Simple CAD plans using entry level sketch programs.

Order, help receive and maintain, ensuring cost-effective supply chain operations.

Manage purchase orders and supplier relationships.

Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and production records within the ERP system.

Manage job costing, payment schedules, and financial reporting.

Act as a key contact for customers, sales agents, and manage all service and warranty inquiries.

Provide customers with timely order, installation, and invoice documentation.

Evaluate and implement actions to improve delivery, efficiency, and quality standards.

Coordinate check measures, manage customer communications, and ensure proactive customer service.

Supply accurate feedback and advise to the sales teams.

About you

Previous experience with kitchen design and installation is desirable.

Previous experience in carpentry or cabinet making functions is desirable.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Great time management and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Current driver’s license.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
