Your Role
As our Commercial Contract Manager, you will be at the heart of contract lifecycle management, commercial strategy, and supplier engagement. You’ll lead contract negotiations, maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, and ensure compliance and performance across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Lifecycle Oversight: Manage the end-to-end contract process, drafting, negotiating, executing, reviewing, extending, and closing contracts, in alignment with organisational strategy.
Commercial Strategy & Value Pricing: Build pricing models, respond to tenders, and implement value-based pricing strategies to support business growth.
Data Analytics & Reporting: Develop KPIs, forecasts, and management tools to monitor commercial performance and support data-driven decision-making.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with operations, finance, assets, and external stakeholders to ensure contract delivery, compliance, and optimization.
Risk & Compliance Management: Identify potential contract risks, ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards, and proactively resolve disputes and issues.
Continuous Improvement: Refine contract frameworks and processes, streamlining administration and enhancing efficiency.
Who You Are
We are looking for a strategic and analytical professional with proven experience in commercial and contract management roles.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
University or other learning qualifications in either Business, Accountancy, Management or a combination.
Proven leadership in managing high-performing contract management teams.
Extensive experience with complex contracts, ideally in a rail or government environment.
Deep understanding of procurement, governance, and risk management in a statutory authority.
Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Highly Regarded Attributes
Experience within the transport or logistics sectors
Experience in dealing with schools or the education space.

Remuneration & Conditions
Salary: From $125,000 base (Dependent on experience).
Employment Type: Full-time, permanent.
Location: Chullora, NSW (on-site).
Hours: Monday to Friday, with flexibility for contract deadlines.
Transport: Must have own vehicle.
