We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Administrator to join our Commercial Team. This is a fundamental role focused on tendering, winning work, and setting up projects for success. You’ll Be Responsible For:

Winning the Project

Tendering & estimating to determine scope of works and conduct quantity take-offs, you will apply appropriate construction rates to develop competitive bids and prepare and submit professional tenders across various project types. Follow up on tenders, negotiate with clients, and secure projects.

Design development, value engineering and propose cost-saving alternatives and engineering solutions, you will provide advice on framing systems, acoustic treatments, and material efficiencies.

Project Setup

Set up project budgets and documentation in internal systems

Prepare site-specific SWMS, ITPs, and subcontractor agreements

Negotiate supply and subcontractor terms

Contract Administration

Review and manage contracts to ensure commercial protection

Administer monthly progress claims in line with SOPA

Price and negotiate variations, monitor job costs, and forecast profit/loss

What We’re Looking For…

5 years' experience in a similar Contract Admin or Estimator role within commercial construction

Background in Commercial fit outs, Ceilings & Partitions is highly regarded

Proficiency in take-offs and Cubit estimating software

Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently with minimal training (system onboarding provided)
