About the role
Our Corporate Services division facilitates the achievement of the Department’s objectives by providing strategically focused financial, human, information, and asset management; planning and policy development; and whole of government project management and reporting.
Reporting to the Executive Director Human Resources, this permanent, full time position will lead our Systems, Reporting and Human Resources Technology branch.
This role is crucial in managing the flow of human resource information by overseeing specialist teams that provide support, guidance and quality outcomes for the agency.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Ensuring industrial and legislative compliance.
Implementing rigorous quality control measures and change management practices.
Effectively executing HR systems updates, upgrades and changes.
Managing vendors and associated contracts to ensure service delivery levels are met.
Engaging with stakeholders at a high level across the agency.
Providing expert advice, guidance and support on HR systems, reporting and HR technology.
Delivering high-quality HR reporting across various systems.
About you
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with experience in a complex organisational environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
They should have knowledge and understanding of HR systems, reporting, and rostering, as well as the ability to translate business requirements into effective solutions.
Candidates require strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple teams, ensuring engagement, mentoring and development to promote best practice.
