Job Title: HR Advisor / Generalist
Location: West Perth (with occasional site travel)
Salary: Up to $130,000 + super (depending on experience)

The Role
We're looking for a hands-on and adaptable HR Advisor to work closely with the HR Manager, supporting operational and site-based teams as a part of a collaborative HR function. This is a broad generalist role, where you'll be involved with all areas of HR from onboarding and contracts, to training coordination, reporting, recruitment support, and more.
While you'll occasionally assist with employee relations matters, this role is primarily focused on day-to-day HR operations and people processes. You'll be someone who can confidently step into various HR tasks, support managers, and keep things running smoothly.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate onboarding and pre-employment compliance across projects.
- Prepare employment contracts, including IR-complaint documentation.
- Support training coordination, records management, and workforce development.
- Assist the Recruitment and Mobilisation teams during busy periods.
- Maintain HR systems, documentation, and contribute to HR reporting.
- Provide general advice to operational leaders on policy, contracts, and people matters.
- Support low-risk ER tasks (e.g. note-taking, drafting letters, policy clarification).
- Travel to site occasionally for HR support and relationship building.
About You:
- Solid experience in a HR Advisor or Generalist role.
- Broad HR knowledge across onboarding, training, contracts, and compliance.
- Strong communicator with the confidence to guide and support frontline managers.
- Happy to be a team player, willing to step into different areas as needed.
- Mature, organised, and interested in progressing into a 2IC-type position.
