GRADUATE HR OFFICER
Full time, part time and casual hours negotiable and subject to operational requirements. We're flexible around study commitments if you're finishing off your degree.
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have:
Just completed (or will complete by Semester 1 2026) a tertiary degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology or other relevant degree.
An interest in an HR/employment relations career and eager to participate in a structured career pathway that could progress you to Junior HR Consultant (year 1 - 75k pa) then HR Consultant (year 2 - 90k pa) and beyond. Salary ranges and timelines are indicative, subject to the performance and operational requirements.
A growth mindset and a pro-active approach to learning. You will learn HR/IR across all industries, working directly on client work advancing your career quickly.
A friendly and personable demeanour, that is also mature and professional.
The ability to work autonomously and responsibly, while also collaborating with the broader NSW and WA team members.
High attention to detail, strong written and verbal skills and comfortable with numbers.
Experience in any workplace with transferable skills, work ethic and a good attitude! Office experience is desirable but not essential.
About the Role:
As an entry-level HR Officer, you'll assist the HR Consultants and HR Director to provide industrial relations and generalist advice to our clients in all areas of HR.
Please note: this role is industrial and employment relations based and not a recruiter position, although some recruiting tasks may constitute a portion of your workload.
This role will fast track your HR experience and knowledge.
Located in Mt Hawthorn but servicing clients Australia-wide, you'll get experience across all industries and IR systems. This role will suit someone who is motivated by personal and professional growth, building relationships and client success.

DUTIES INCLUDE:
Supporting Employii’s HR Consultants and Directors to provide accurate and strategic advice to our clients. In Sydney, you'll work closely with our Senior HR Consultant, Hollie, alongside the rest of the team based in Perth, WA.
Complete a variety of HR-based tasks, including:
Drafting contracts of employment;
Employee handbooks;
Drafting a variety of letters, pertaining to performance management, disciplinary, redundancy and other HR processes;
Conducting Award and Classification assessments; and
Providing HR advice within scope.
To provide administrative support as necessary.
To provide exceptional customer service to all current, potential and past customers and consumers.
Compiling HR-based content and company updates, for Employii’s social media channels and online newsletter.
Other tasks as reasonably required.
Tertiary degree in HR, IR, Business Management, Law, Psychology (or completion within 12 months) is essential. Previous work experience desirable but not essential.
