Point Lonsdale Medical Group- Permanent Part Time Medical Receptionist

Bellarine Peninsula Coastal General Practice.

Permanent Part Time Position 3 days per week (24 hours per week).

PPT Hours will be Tuesday 8:30am to 5:00pm, Thursday 8:30am to 5:00 pm and Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Additional requirement to work on Saturday Mornings 8.45 to 1.15pm on a rotating roster.

Flexibility to work additional shifts to help cover annual leave and sick leave is highly desirable.

We are currently seeking an innovative, enthusiastic, patient focused Medical Receptionist to join our Reception Team. Previous experience in Medical administration or similar is preferred but not essential. We will provide full training to the right candidate. This is the perfect opportunity to gain experience in the medical industry in a supportive environment.

Ability to handle a fast paced front desk

Outstanding computer skills

Highly organized, ability to multitask, attention to detail

Excellent customer service skills

Problem solving skills

Experience using Best Practice or similar clinical management software is preferred, however we will provide full training so not essential.

Flexibility to work additional hours to cover sick leave and annual leave. You may be required to work Saturday morning (rotating roster).

Key Responsibility

Welcoming and assisting patients queries and bookings

Scheduling and managing patient appointments

Answering a high volume of phone calls

Accurate patient billings and processing of payments

General admin duties- faxing, scanning, emailing

Maintaining confidentiality and privacy

Assisting with practitioner needs

The Clinic is opened 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 9am-1pm.
