AHA is seeking the right CEO who will be excited about the opportunity to lead the growth of community-based adult mental health services in the Great Southern Region.

AHA has a strong 40-year history delivering community-based mental health services including outreach support, group activities, supported accommodation, and a 24/7 psychiatric hostel. AHA plans to grow existing services and respond to service gaps and unmet demand by delivering new services across the region.

The new CEO will have the support of a skills-based Board, an experienced Executive Leadership Team, and an Operational Team committed to supporting people on their mental health recovery journeys.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide strategic and governance advice to the Board

· Be actively involved in day-to-day management

· Drive performance and continuous improvement

· Ensure compliance with funding contracts and other regulatory requirements

· Drive growth through new programs and funding

· Ensure compliance with National Safety and Quality Mental Health Standards for Community Managed Organisations (NSQMHCMO Standards), NDIS Quality Standards, and other regulatory requirements

· Lead a high-performing values-based culture

· Engage with key stakeholders and actively promote AHA

About You

The successful candidate will have a proven track record leading an organisation as an executive/senior leader, preferably in the community sector.

In addition, the ideal candidate will be:

· Equally skilled in strategic leadership and contemporary management

· Capable of guiding and supporting day-to-day operations

· Experienced leading a high performing executive team

· Experienced managing change

· Successful in developing new services and securing new funding

· Experienced in developing partnerships and relationships with government, other agencies, and community stakeholders

· Experienced in delivering mental health services
