The Organisation

The immediate team consists of 35 team members spread across three floors in the building, who cooperate with over 400 other team members and thousands of volunteers from across the Diocese.
The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity awaits a driven and energetic individual who wants to be a part of a passionate corporate team. Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the Diocesan Secretary and Executive Officer, the Executive Support Officer will provide personal, confidential, administrative and secretarial support to the Diocesan Secretary and Executive Officer, The Perth Diocesan Trustees (PDT) and the Diocesan Council (DC) and coordinate/maintain the efficient administration of Diocesan Office, working closely with the Diocesan Office team.
Your responsibilities include and not limited to:
Correspondence management.
Coordination of board meetings, attendance and collation of meeting minutes as required.
Background research and drafting correspondence.
Compliance – control of registration and signature of legal documents.
Project management support for various projects.
Providing HR administrative support to the HR Manager and other senior management team members as required.
About You
You are an experienced professional in providing high-level confidential administration services to senior management, highly organised to meet deadlines, and have a strong attention to detail in preparing reports, correspondence, and other documents. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills to support the Executive Assistant and Diocesan Secretary and Executive Officer and partner with internal and external stakeholders.
You take the initiative to learn, can prioritise workloads, self-manage time and resources effectively, and remain calm under pressure. Flexibility is a key requirement, as some out-of-business-hours work may be required occasionally.
Your experience working in a similar role in a fast-paced environment will be highly regarded.
