The Role

• Work closely with a very experienced Site Manager
• Co-ordination and supervision of sub-contractors, suppliers, and materials deliveries.
• Assist with management of the construction program and look aheads
• Regular updates and progress reports to project team
• Managing OHS compliance on site including site inductions and toolbox talks
• Work with the SM to ensure an efficient, smooth workflow
• Hands on Carpentry as required whilst learning and developing

The Person

• Qualified Carpenter with Commercial and/or Residential building experience
• Experience supervising all trades across commercial construction projects
• Coordinating and scheduling of trades to maximise productivity
• Prior experience in managing key targets of quality, safety, cost and time
• Able to schedule, coordinate and manage site activities
• Excellent work ethic and help to build a high-performing, proactive working culture on-site
• Working knowledge of building codes, standards and methodologies
• An open, collaborative attitude and ability to build relationships with everyone on-site
• A genuine desire to learn and grow, under the mentorship of a very experienced and personable SM

• Immediate interview & start
• $110,000 - $130,000 + Super
