The opportunity

As a Leading Hand Concreter with Zemac Concreting, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of concrete pouring and finishing on construction sites. Work is based in Logan, Brisbane & Ipswich areas, this full-time position offers the chance to be part of an established and respected concrete contracting company.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and direct a team of concreters to ensure efficient and high-quality concrete pouring and finishing

Liaise with site managers, project engineers and other stakeholders to coordinate concrete works and address any issues that arise

Inspect and assess completed concrete works to ensure they meet required standards and specifications

Monitor and maintain tools, equipment and materials to optimise site productivity

What we're looking for

Significant experience as a concreter, with a proven track record of leading and coordinating teams

Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring and finishing techniques, as well as the ability to read and interpret site plans and drawings

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with team members, site managers and other stakeholders

Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks and priorities

Commitment to delivering high-quality work and promoting a safe work environment

Construction industry qualifications or certifications, such as a Certificate III in Concreting, would be highly regarded
