We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established civil contractor specialising in asphalt and pavement works across South East Queensland. With a strong pipeline of projects and led by an ex-Tier 1 Construction Manager, this is a business that blends professionalism with a culture of appreciation, trust, and good people.
They are now seeking a Civil Foreman to join their high-performing team on the Sunshine Coast.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervising on-site civil crews, primarily across asphalt, pavement, and minor civil works
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and materials to ensure efficient delivery
• Ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to spec
• Supporting delivery across local government, infrastructure, and private sector projects
• Reporting to a Construction Manager who genuinely values his team and leads with a collaborative approach

What you’ll bring:

• Experience as a Civil Foreman or Leading Hand on asphalt or civil construction projects
• A hands-on leadership style with a strong focus on safety and team performance
• Solid knowledge of civil construction practices, including asphalt, roadworks, or bulk earthworks
• Drivers Licence and relevant tickets (advantageous)
• Someone who’s reliable, down to earth, and wants to build something long-term
