About the Client
We are looking for experienced Support Workers, to support one of our participants who is living with Autism (non-verbal), Anxiety, Intellectual Disability, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. They require dedicated Support Workers with extensive experience in providing complex care to support her with daily living.
Components of the supports include personal care, continence care, assistance with feeding and medications, monitoring physical health, engaging in activities in the home (stories, music, painting, sensory activities etc.), and community access.
About You
To set the benchmark standard of services, we seek likeminded support workers that uphold and represent our core values: Integrity, Empathy, Creative, Inspire, Mindfulness & Bold.
In addition to our values, our support staff require mandatory compliance:
12 months minimum experience as a Support Worker.
Experience working with complex care needs, restrictive practices and behaviours of concern.
Relevant tertiary qualification (minimum Certificate III in Disability or related industry)
Driver’s Licence & Car with Comprehensive Insurance.
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
Manual Handling Certificate.
Medication Certificate.
Flexible availability & commitment to an ongoing roster of support.
