Role 1:
Seeking an EXPERIENCED Disability Support Worker for a position in Kensington supporting a male who has an ABI and requires personal care and assistance with PEG feeding. Experience with using a hoist, understanding dysphagia and working with BOC is essential. The shifts available are 7am-1pm, weekdays, with occasional weekend shifts available ad-hoc.

Role 2:
A nursing background is desirable for this role supporting a male in the Bundoora area. The role involves providing personal care, potentially wound care and an understanding of supporting a person with a disability. This role involves building a trusting and empathetic relationship which forms an essential requirement to succeed in this position.

Role 3:

Westpeak Support Services is currently hiring highly trained and experienced Disability Support Workers with a background and understanding in Child Development, Behaviours of Concern and Trauma-Informed Care. This role is located in The Basin.

This role provides 24/7 care to a male child who requires significant support. This child requires suitable support staff to provide his personal care, community access and overnight assistance, within a house built by DFFH to a robust standard.

Hourly rate/s will be discussed with the candidate based on experience and qualifications.

Requirements:

Qualifications in Disability, or a related field, with substantial experience providing direct care to people who have a Disability and require personal care.

Preferably training in PEG and experience engaging with the PEG process.

Have a Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screeners Check.

Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance.

Strong Interpersonal Skills and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
